Whilst they plough the UK with their melodic-metalcore sound; Forever Never have decided upon releasing something a little different to say the least; their latest offering comes in the form of the I Can’t Believe it’s Not Metal! EP, which is pretty much as it says on the tin: a cover album that sounds absolutely horrendous on paper, let’s see how it pans out.

Metal girls Kittie take to the UK in support of new album In The Black, and stop off in Newcastle tonight – unfortunately, only a small percent of the room is filled at the most, but it doesn’t stop the four bands tonight from playing their hearts out and impressing immensely.

Taking a detour whilst Shinedown take a day off, US rockers SOiL take residence in Newcastle for the night. In tow are two of the most promising young UK metal acts doing the rounds, and former Kerrang! Introducing stars, The Defiled and Forever Never.
